Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares

All the submitted papers will be double-binded reviewed by two reviewers.

Only the final paper should have the authors names and acknowlegdements and any other information that could identify the authors.

The author must follow the template guidelines.

The file must be named as follow: SIT2023xxx.pdf were the xxx are the paper ID.

The review process will start with the first submissions.

The first responses, as accepted or for modifications will start after July 3rd and will last until August 31st.

After the final deadline for final paper submition will be on Semtember 18th.

The reviewer must check if the following items of the paper are in accordance:

  1. The was written following the templates formate? (yes/no)

  2. The paper title is in accordance with the paper content? (yes/no)

  3. The  abstract of the paper sintetize the motivation, methodology and main results os the investigation? (yes/no)

  4. Summarize the article in a short paragraph. This shows the editor you have read and understood the research.

  5. Give your main impressions of the article, including whether it is novel and interesting, whether it has a sufficient impact and adds to the knowledge base.

  6. Ideally when commenting, do so using short, clearly-defined paragraphs and make it easy for the editor and author to see what section you’re referring to.

  7. Assess whether the article conforms to the symposium instructions (e.g., the guide for authors).

  8. Give specific comments and suggestions about e.g. title, abstract: Does the title accurately reflect the content? Is the abstract complete and stand-alone?

  9. Carefully review the methodology, statistical errors, results, conclusion/discussion, and references.

  10. Consider feedback on the presentation of data in the article, the sustainability and reproducibility of any methodology, the analysis of any data and whether the conclusions are supported by the data.

  11. Raise your suspicions with the editor only if you suspect plagiarism, fraud or have other ethical concerns, providing as much detail as possible.
