Regional airports are fundamental for the connectivity of a country, especially in the case of Brazil. Such airports have problems about infrastructure and flight supply, for example. The presence of a business model that will help their operation and viability is essential. This study seeks to analyze the business model present in the regional airports of Pernambuco, aiming to point out guidelines for improvement that will help the government in its operation. The analysis was carried out with the aid of the literature reference and through the Cluster and DEA tool, with the objective of presenting an overview of the sector of Brazilian regional airports through the cluster and from the DEA to find benchmarking airports that were used as a reference. The airports were basically in the same group except for Fernando de Noronha Airport, among the main problems the lack of communication channels with customers, infrastructure problems and lack of non-aeronautical revenues stand out. The guidelines aimed at improving the airport's business vision are fundamental for the viability of airports, being tools for possible subsidy policies and even future concessions.
